Made with Love Week – Shirley Temple

If you are just joining me Made with Love Week is still going strong!  I’ve shared 3 treats so far and Kacey, from Stay At Home Artist has shared 3 awesome printables!  Check those out to get up to speed.  Today is all about parties!

When I was a little girl every year on my birthday my grandmother would take me to a restaurant called Bobby McGee’s. It was such a fun restaurant and every year I would order the same drink…a Shirley Temple. When I was contemplating a recipe to share that would be suitable for a Valentine’s Day party (head over to Stay at Home Artist for a great printable banner) my thoughts kept returning to Bobby McGee’s. I loved to order my Shirley Temple with it’s sweet, crisp taste. Of course, at the time I also loved it because it made me feel grown up!

Now I love it because it makes me feel like a kid again!  Go figure.  Whether you are throwing a party for the young or young at heart this drink will be a hit.  The sweet grenadine tints the ginger ale red and squeeze of lime gives it a fresh taste. It’s a perfect combination!

Serve at your next party and decorate with this cute banner from Stay at Home Artist!

  1. That looks refreshing and i love how you presented it with that lemon slice on the glass rim and cherry floating inside…very professional 🙂

  2. Oh wow! I haven’t had a Shirley Temple in years…it looks great! I will have to make myself one! 🙂
