Peanut Butter Chocolate Delights

Our sweet little children are growing up.

My oldest two {7, 5} helped out Dad on the farm all weekend long.  I’m sure in the fall they will be begging to help sort, brand, and steer the calves.  When did this happen…and in case you were wondering, the answer is no!

My almost 3 year old went poopie on the pooty for the first time.  Ever.  It’s not like we haven’t tried to bribe coax him.  When did this happen!?  Okay, this couldn’t have come soon enough, but still.

My 1 year old took his first steps.  Seriously folks, when did THIS happen!?  Walking!?  I’m so not ready for the walking because once the walking starts the running is next.  When he walks between the mr and I he can hardly stand still to get his balance.  The running is not far behind.

No matter how old or how fast our children grow one thing remains the same, they are still our little babies and the desire to give them everything want {within reason} is there.  My kids just light up when I say I made cookies so you can imagine their reaction when I showed them these.

Chocolate and peanut butter are a match made in heaven in my opinion.  I’m right, just ask the mr.  These cookies are a favorite of mine from my childhood and every once in awhile a traditional recipe is just what you need!

  1. Anything with peanut butter and chocolate are a delight!

I couldn’t agree with you more, I have a 31 year old daughter and 19 year old twin daughters. Wait, when did that happen?

    They’re still my babies!

  2. The texture of your cookies looks perfect! I am pinning this right now. BTW, your life on the farm sounds very interesting!

  3. Love these cookies and you are so right, the time does fly. It just seems like yesterday that my youngest was born and he’s almost 7. Enjoy them while they are little! I am glad for the teenagers help on the ranch but teenagers and driving and all of that good stuff is hard to take!

  4. These are a perfect classic cookie. I adore these. They look perfect.

  5. All of these milestones going on your house!

PB chocolate delights are one of my favorite cookies. I only make them at Christmas time b/c if I made them any other time of the year I wouldn’t stop eating them…haha 🙂

  6. These cookies are the perfect way to treat our sweet kids to something special…made by mom 🙂

  7. Oh, those looks so good. Though I am positive that mine won’t turn out that pretty. I always get distracted and burn cookies around the edges 🙂 I just wanted to say how nice it was to meet you yesterday at the blogging luncheon. I will def. have to be back to find more recipes!

  8. Ahh! My one year old just started walking too, craziness.
    Cookies look awesome! 🙂
