Comfort food at it’s best. And with so little effort.
My kinda dinner.
This is also what I like to call a “clean out your fridge” kinda dinner. You could toss in practically anything you want and it would be considered acceptable. Tasty. Not always so use good judgment. Peanut butter and broccoli pizza pasta doesn’t exactly sound like a four star dinner. Broccoli and chicken? Winner.
The best part about this is you could be famous for burning water and still cook this. Follow me. Open pasta, pour into slow cooker, cover with sauce. Cook. Chew. Swallow. Repeat.
Soccer season has started and with two kids on teams it means we see a lot of field time. I can almost guarantee that if I don’t have something in my slow cooker we will be eating Wendy’s. That’s not very nice on the budget when it means feeding 6 people every night. I always have the ingredients for this recipe and as long as I do it means we will have dinner.
Let’s just hope we don’t get tired of it.
