Whole Wheat Apple Zucchini Muffins

My body feels like mush right now and if my mom knew that I was doing this instead of sleeping she would give that look.

You know the one.  The “you are gonna be sorry for this but you are an adult so I’m just gonna stand here and give you this look” look.  Yeah.  That one.

Despite the fact that my insides are currently on the fight of their life against the army known as the common cold and my fingers are numb from flooding half of the 200 cookies for a wedding this weekend {I promise I have been sneeze free and washed my hands 100,000 times} I HAVE to write this.

Today happens to be the best food holiday.  Evah.

It’s National Zucchini Day or Sneak Some Zucchini onto Your Neighbor’s Porch Day!

Not even kidding.

As soon as I saw that I’ve been thinking about this day.  My fingers may be numb, my brain might be mush, and I’m not sure I could even do simple addition at this point but I have zucchini in my heart.  And about 20 zucchini just waiting to be doorbell ditched on someone’s porch.

  5. Did you use natural apple sauce or the one with sugar? These sound delicious, now I need to go to the store and get some wheat flour.

    • Thanks Cathy! I did use all natural applesauce in my recipe. And just in case you are interested, I LOVE Bob’s Red Mill Whole Wheat Flour. Ever since I started buying that I’ve used it a ton!
