Caramel Apple Cinnamon Rolls

So here’s the thing about these rolls.  They’re kinda awesome.  And they have no cinnamon in them just so ya know.  It’s just when I hear “cinnamon roll” I think of these sweet, spiral, gooey rolls so it was natural for me to call them that.

About them being awesome…they are and if you don’t want to inhale a couple for lunch {not that I did that} you better have a lot of friends to share them with or one big family.  Of course, you could be like me and have a big family, share with friends, and still inhale two for lunch.

You have been warned.

I’d also like to talk for a moment about yeast.  Do not fear the yeast.  It is your friend and it makes for some fluffy dough.

As long as you are working with fresh yeast {I like to buy a 2lb bag and store it in my fridge door} you shouldn’t have a problem.  The only thing difficult about these rolls is waiting the entire hour for the dough to rise so you can finally bake them!

So, pop quiz.

Is there actual cinnamon in these rolls?  No.

Is yeast scary and hard to work with?  No.

Will you go make these this weekend and share with your big family, friends, and inhale two for lunch?  Yes.

  9. This recipe is amazing, and very versatile. I made 3 batches today (just because i had a day off and was bored to death;)] so i made one with plums, one with apples and one i just sprinkled a cinnamon over sugar, rolled it up and baked it. AMAZING
