Arugula, Prosciutto, and Chevre Crostini

There are few things on this earth that can bring me to my knees.  The combination of sweet and savory is one of those things.

It seems to tickle every taste bud and leaves me wanting more.  How’s that for 50 Shades of Gray!?  Never read it but if I had I would have enjoyed these arugula, prosciutto, and chevre crostini while doing so.  They make the perfect snack or appetizer.

It requires just 10 minutes to put together and ingredients that will keep in the refrigerator for quite awhile.  I make sure to store the arugula in a my OXO Salad Spinner to keep it as fresh as possible.  I almost always have some type of baguette or french bread around and cheese.  Prosciutto is a bit more tricky but if you have bacon you can easily substitute with that.

Dare I say it’s the perfect last minute treat to wow a guest or that special someone for a certain special day that may be coming up.  And since I didn’t whip these up while mr was home I will most assuredly be making them again.  And sharing.  Maybe.

    • Oh I will definitely need to find that one! I just love Trader Joe’s. Sigh. We will have to make a day of it one of these days. Especially since when I go to TJ’s it does usually end up being a full day!

  4. My kind of app! Perfect for nibbling on 🙂
