Death by Chocolate Brownies

Death by Chocolate Brownie Recipe {}

A month ago I was visiting family in California.  A week ago I was waiting to hear from a realtor with a client who wanted to buy our house, and every hour in between I was eating chocolate, in some form or another.  A minute ago I was eating the last of my new favorite brownie recipe.

I kid you not when I say this past month has been close to torture.  The waiting and having no control over which direction life was going to turn was intense.  Between my family facing health issues, usual everyday stress, and unexpectedly selling our house I was beginning to crack under the pressure.

I may or may not have visited Kneader’s more than once {their eclairs are like entering another dimension of awesomeness}, ranted and raved to more then one person about how life sucks, and had to remind myself to breathe during certain parts of the day when I just wanted to scream.  Sometimes I would just scream.

Death by Chocolate Brownies

I told a friend going through a similar crisis that these were called Death by Chocolate Brownies, I had eaten too many but they do help with the pain.  She responded with, “And what a good way to go.”  I agree although I’m not planning on going anywhere anytime soon except to a new house now that we have officially sold ours.  Of course, until I have papers in hand it’s technically not O-fficial.  And that is why you can expect a lot of dessert in the coming weeks.  I’m so sorry.  Kinda.  Not really.

For a brownie recipe this one takes the cake.  Wuah-wuah.

P.S. While this post isn’t entirely over exaggerated I didn’t really eat chocolate every hour.  Maybe every other hour.  I did, however, think about it every hour.  Around the time I would think about my life.
